The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau was founded in 2023 from the TU Kaiserslautern and the Campus Landau of the University Koblenz Landau. In 1970, the then TU Kaiserslautern was the only technical university in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Despite its relative young age, it has established itself as a center of research excellence and achieved top places in overall German rankings. It is one of the top universities in Germany to study Electrical & Computer Engineering. The university has many collaborative projects with industrial partners in Germany and Europe.
We care about your education and thus for your future. For that reason, the TU Kaiserslautern (now RPTU) has been awarded with the Prize for Excellent Studies in Germany.
Embedded Computing Systems (ESY) is the RPTU component of the European Erasmus Mundus program EMECS. This means that you will benefit from excellent lectures, a carefully balanced and cross-linked curriculum, and studies at the forefront of research.
Kaiserslautern is one of the main hubs in Germany for IT and embedded computing systems technology and a center of innovation. The futuristic PRE-UNI-Park, a technology site with modern architecture spanning 70,000 m², constitutes the core of the Science Alliance, an excellent network of internationally-renowned research facilities and industries.
During your studies, you will be able to closely cooperate with affiliated companies and research centers.
