On the occasion of Prof. Paul Walter Baier entering the status of a Professor emeritus in 2006, the

Research Group for Radio Communications

directed by him was re-founded as

Institute for Wireless Communication and Navigation

under the directorship of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Dieter Schotten.

Within this new institute, Prof. Baier operates a

Unit for Radio Communications.

On a limited scale, in this unit work towards diploma and master’s theses can be performed.
