Program

Automation and Control (A&C) is a research-oriented four semester master program with a total of 120 ECTS CPs. It consists of a core part and an elective part of courses. You can choose from two majors:

  • Real-Time Control Systems (RCS)

  • Connected Automation Systems (CAS)

    The language of the A&C master program is English. In the elective part, you may also choose courses in German language.

The core courses focus on:

  • advanced methods for nonlinear and adaptive control
  • optimization-based control
  • robust and fault-tolerant control
  • digital systems
  • logical control
  • methods for modeling and parameter identification of dynamic systems

You can form your individual profile with major courses. You develop skills in component-oriented or system-oriented automation technology with relation to applications in:

  • mechatronics
  • robotics
  • electrical vehicle technology
  • power electronics/drive technology
  • process engineering
  • Industry 4.0
  • autonomous systems and infrastructure
  • supply systems
