Program
Automation and Control (A&C) is a research-oriented four semester master program with a total of 120 ECTS CPs. It consists of a core part and an elective part of courses. You can choose from two majors:
Real-Time Control Systems (RCS)
Connected Automation Systems (CAS)
The language of the A&C master program is English. In the elective part, you may also choose courses in German language.
The core courses focus on:
- advanced methods for nonlinear and adaptive control
- optimization-based control
- robust and fault-tolerant control
- digital systems
- logical control
- methods for modeling and parameter identification of dynamic systems
You can form your individual profile with major courses. You develop skills in component-oriented or system-oriented automation technology with relation to applications in:
- mechatronics
- robotics
- electrical vehicle technology
- power electronics/drive technology
- process engineering
- Industry 4.0
- autonomous systems and infrastructure
- supply systems
