Chair for Energy Systems and Energy Management
The Chair for Energy Systems and Energy Management, founded on January 1, 2011, is currently vacant. Until a successor to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfram H. Wellßow has been found, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Götz of the Chair for Mechatronics and Electrical Drive Systems will continue to supervise research and teaching at our Chair.
The remaining members of staff continue to be active in research and teaching, so that together with external lecturers we offer all compulsory courses in the specialization field of Electrical Power Engineering. Theses are also still possible, although the choice of topics is limited to current research areas. It is therefore still possible to choose the specialization in Electrical Power Engineering. We will be happy to advise you on the selection of suitable technical and non-technical electives.
Since the summer semester 2023, you will find information on all courses offered by our chair exclusively in the corresponding OLAT courses. The electives Control Systems in Electrical Power Engineering and Power System Protection are no longer offered. The elective subject Switchgear will also be canceled in the winter semester 2024/2025 due to a scheduling conflict of the lecturer.
