The Chair of Mechatronics and Electric Drives Systems at the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau is dedicated to the research and development of electrical drives as well as hardware and software development of power electronics for various application areas. These include, among others, battery systems, electrical power networks, and drives. Additionally, the chair and its staff have extensive know-how in the software and hardware development of power electronics. The focus here is on modular battery storage systems with MMC circuits and their integration into various application systems, such as solar power plants or vehicles.
