6G for sovereign citizens, in a highly connected world - Open 6G Labs KL

The goal of the "Open6GHub" is to provide contributions to a global 6G harmonization process and standard in the European context that takes into account German interests in terms of our societal priorities (sustainability, climate protection, data protection or resilience) while strengthening the competitiveness of our companies and our technological sovereignty as well as the position of Germany and Europe in the international competition for 6G. The Open6GHub will contribute to the development of an overall 6G architecture, but also end-to-end solutions in the following areas, among others: advanced network topologies with highly agile so-called organic networking, security and resilience, THz and photonic transmission methods, sensor functionalities in the networks and their intelligent use and further processing, and application-specific radio protocols. All technologies developed within the Open6G-Hub will then be combined under the leadership of our chair in superordinate OpenLabs, which vividly illustrate an added value of the new systems different scenarios.
