Description:
The main objective of the project is to develop the enabling technology and infrastructure required to effectively allow application developers to use the most advanced techniques of real-time systems. Although researches come up with novel techniques to solve many problems of real-time applications, the solutions are usually too complex, and hence, not being feasible to implement in commercial products. The goal of FRESCOR is to develop a framework to automate the application development process and decrease the gap between research and commercial usage of novel technologies.
Our role in the project is to contribute with our knowledge on adaptive scheduling techniques with an emphasis on combined off-line and on-line methods. Moreover, we collaborate in activities related to resource management for wireless networks, energy management and adaptive video streaming.
