Real-Time Systems

Thesis

We regularly offer master/bachelor thesis opportunities for students at RPTU. Interested students should send the following to Dr.-Ing. Gautam Gala:

1. Up-to-date CV

2. Recent transcripts

3. List of lectures that you have attended with the chair of real-time systems (if they are currently missing from your transcripts)

4. Topics of interest related to real-time systems from our core research topics or those taught in our courses

5. You can also let us know if you are interested in real-time systems topics not included in the above point

The requirements to apply for a master/bachelor thesis are as follows:

* Attended (and passed) RTS 1 or RTS 2 course

* Knowledge of processor architecture

* Optional:

* Attending all courses and labs conducted by the chair of real-time systems is suggested

* Experience in C, C++, or Python is advantageous

During a master/bachelor thesis, we expect students to come up with an interesting new solution for the problem statement and not just perform programming tasks. Students can expect one-on-one supervision from us including hints and guidance for solving the problem statement.
