  • Carry your student ID card for the written exam

  • All students are required to generate a QR code for themselves one time on the website kontaktverfolgung.uni-kl.de with their contact data: name, address, and telephone number. This QR code will be scanned by the exam supervisors at the beginning of the exam session (Only your name is visible to the supervisor. The other details will not be shown). The exam supervisors will close the contact tracking at the end of the exam session. You can find more information here

  • The exam can only be done in English or German

  • To write your answers, use a blue or black pen only (pencils or pens of any other color are not allowed)

  • Only pen(s), water bottles, English dictionaries, and a non-programmable calculator are allowed in the exam room

  • Mobile phones, smart-watches, and any electronic devices must be switched off and placed in your bags

  • Books, slides, or any sort of written materials or your own papers are not allowed in the exam room

  • Regarding wearing a mask and other covid-19 rules, ensure to make yourself informed of the latest changes from the Uni website

  • Wait outside the exam room maintaining at least a 1.5-meter distance from others. We will let you inside one by one and assign you a seat.

In addition to the above-mentioned rules, the following rules also apply for the written exam:

  • Mind the walking paths when moving around the exam room to avoid crossing paths with other students and keep the minimum distance of 1.5m to other students and the exam personnel.

  • If you need to use the restrooms, raise your hand and wait for exam personal instructions.

  • If you have a question, raise your hand.

  • You will then be guided outside the exam room to discuss your question.

  • You can leave any time until 10 minutes to the end. After this, you will have to remain seated until the
end of the exam. If you wish to leave the exam early, raise your hand and wait for instructions. Leave the room in
silence and do not forget anything on your desk.

  • Once the exam is over, leave the exam room in an orderly fashion and hand in your exam at the door before exiting
      the room.
