Kristin Krüger is a PhD student at the chair of real-time systems in the Technische Universität of Kaiserslautern. She holds a diploma in Computer Engineering (Informationstechnik) in the field of embedded computing systems (Informationsverarbeitung) and is currently researching security in time-triggered real-time systems.
In 2015, Kristin graduated from the Technische Universität of Kaiserslautern after completing her diploma thesis under the supervision of Prof. Gerhard Fohler at the chair of real-time systems. Her thesis is titled "Fault Tolerance and Membership in Distributed Resource Management" and won the faculty award for outstanding student achievements.
Her research interests include:
- Dependability, fault tolerance
- Membership protocols for distributed systems
- Distributed resource management
- Security in Real-Time Systems
Formerly, she was working with DREAMS (Distributed REal-time Architecture for Mixed Criticality Systems), a four-years project funded by the European Commission, which aims at developing a cross-domain architecture and design tools for networked complex systems where application subsystems of different criticality, executing on networked multi-core chips, are supported.
She is a native German speaker, fluent in spoken and written English, holds a higher qualification in Latin and is learning Japanese (current language proficiency level is B1/N4). She favors Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine and likes beer.
If you share her research interests, just send her an e-mail.
